QR generation, image processing, downloads, and scanning run in your browser. Camera video and images uploaded for scanning are not sent to our server.

Saved drafts, theme preferences, and keys used to revoke your shared links are kept in your browser’s storage. Clearing browser data removes them. Download a backup from Saved to keep a separate copy of your designs.

Creating a public share link sends a snapshot of the design, including its QR content and embedded images, to the server. When EdgeStore is configured, that snapshot is stored in its cloud storage. Anyone with its link can view and download it. Shared snapshots expire after 30 days; you can revoke links from the browser where you created them. Expired links stop opening after expiry. Stored data is removed when accessed or during cleanup on new share requests; removal may be delayed if the storage provider is unavailable.

If the site operator enables Google Analytics, it loads only after you choose Allow analytics. It measures visits to public pages and actions such as downloading or saving a QR code. We send content-type categories and export formats, not QR payloads, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, uploaded images, design names or sharing tokens. Saved and shared-design pages are excluded from our analytics events. Google may process cookie identifiers, device information and your IP address when analytics is enabled. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in this integration.

Your analytics choice is stored in this browser. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to change it; declining stops future analytics events and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. When no measurement ID is configured, analytics is disabled. Your hosting provider may still keep standard request logs, including IP addresses. Share requests have temporary rate limits to manage usage.

QR codes can contain contact details or Wi-Fi passwords. Choose what to share deliberately. Downloads and copies that recipients keep are outside the control of the shared-link page.
